Among the many Apple Intelligence features coming in iOS 27, the Passwords app is getting an especially powerful one: the ability to automatically change your passwords for you. Passwords launched two years ago as a dedicated hub for logins, 2FA codes, Wi-Fi credentials, passkeys, and more. The app has always shown you if passwords are problematic, such as being spotted in a data leak or used across multiple accounts.

But until now, you’ve always needed to manually fix those logins. In iOS 27, Apple says that in many cases, its new agentic AI can change the passwords for you. Per its website: "Fix passwords with a tap.

The Passwords app alerts you to weak or compromised passwords and can update them on your behalf without the hassle." iOS 27 is currently in beta and will launch to all users in the next few weeks. The new feature is expected to ship in iOS 27.0, but its availability in the beta has been inconsistent, so it might get pushed into iOS 27.1.
