Ted Lasso has returned for a highly anticipated fourth season, and Apple TV exec Eddy Cue has hinted that the show has a long and bright future ahead. Cue says Ted Lasso has 'plenty of stories to go on' for future seasons.

Apple has not officially picked up Ted Lasso for season 5, but all signs point to at least two more seasons beyond the now-airing season 4. Deadline reported last year that cast were signed to three-season deals, corresponding with a rumored new three-season arc Jason Sudeikis had in mind.

In a red carpet interview, Cue said: 'I hope so. It’s certainly good enough for that. So I think there’s plenty of stories to go on. We’ll show up. No worries.' While not confirmation, it's encouraging that Apple is committed to keeping Lasso going as long as possible.
