OpenAI is working on a feature that allows users to export custom stickers created on ChatGPT straight into WhatsApp. The feature is currently under development and was spotted by Android Authority in the latest version of ChatGPT’s Android app, which includes strings related to creating, exporting, and downloading stickers.\n\nThe feature is named “ChatGPT Stickers” and will offer users the option to add stickers to chat apps, but currently seems only to support WhatsApp. Users can tap the “Add to WhatsApp” option to add their created stickers as a custom sticker pack.

The 3-sticker minimum is a WhatsApp requirement, not an OpenAI limitation.\n\nGiven that the feature was uncovered through an APK teardown, it is currently unclear when or whether it will be released publicly. WhatsApp already has its own AI-powered sticker creation feature using Meta AI, but this would bring similar functionality directly to ChatGPT.
