The ceramic case offered a striking deep‑gloss look and was highly resistant to scratches. In the years since, the ceramic Apple Watch has become a rare collector’s item.

Current Series 11 watches are offered in aluminum or titanium, while the Ultra is titanium‑only and starts at $699, versus the $399 base price of the cheapest Series 11. Ceramic is expected to be positioned as an even higher‑end premium material, recalling the $1299 price point of the Series 5 ceramic edition, and could be available either this year or next, likely commanding a price well above the current titanium models.
