Beats teases pink over‑ear headphones ahead of World Cup

Apple’s Beats division is close to unveiling a new over‑ear model after the FCC leaked a filing for device A3577. The leak surfaced last week, and soccer star Lamine Yamal amplified the buzz with an Instagram post that shows the headphones in a bright pink colorway. Fans are already speculating about pricing. The teaser hints at a successor to the 2023 Beats Studio Pro.

Unlike the Studio Pro, which retained the boxy silhouette of the 2019 Studio 3, the new design borrows the tapered headband of the AirPods Max and adds a slimmer stem that widens toward the crown. Ear cups protrude from the cushions rather than sit flush, giving the set a more sculpted look that departs from recent Beats aesthetics.

Beats previously swapped the Apple H1 chip for custom silicon, improving Android compatibility but weakening iOS integration—a trade‑off many iPhone users complained about. The pink edition may signal a push toward fashion‑forward accessories, while the redesign suggests Apple could reintroduce its own chip for a tighter ecosystem. The headphones are expected to ship soon, likely before the World Cup concludes.
