Apple is set to broaden its Ultra line, with a fold‑able iPhone and a new high‑end MacBook arriving this year, according to a Macworld source. The company will label the first foldable as iPhone Ultra and the premium laptop as MacBook Ultra. Both devices are slated for a September reveal alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models in this coming release cycle.

The iPhone Ultra will sport a book‑style fold with a 5.5‑inch outer display and a 7.8‑inch inner panel, both crease‑free. Inside, it will house an A20 Pro chip, a C2 cellular modem, and custom iOS 27 features allowing side‑by‑side apps. Dual rear cameras and a front camera on each screen will coexist with Touch ID in the power button for users everywhere today.

The MacBook Ultra will depart from the current Pro line with a new industrial design, a touchscreen OLED display, and a Dynamic Island replacing the notch.
