Women in Blue season 2 premieres Wednesday, August 12 on Apple TV, the streaming service announcing the return of its acclaimed Spanish-language crime drama following its first season's success.

Apple TV has steadily expanded its non-English original series lineup, including notable entries like Pachinko, Drops of God, and Berlin ER. Women in Blue ('Las Azules') centers on four women joining Mexico's first female police force, only to discover it's a publicity stunt masking a serial killer's hunt. The second season follows Lieutenant María as she navigates corruption and a past massacre while the team confronts buried truths.

This summer, Apple TV also launches Ted Lasso's new season and the Martin Scorsese-Steven Spielberg thriller Cape Fear, alongside limited series Lucky with Anya Taylor-Joy. Apple TV remains $12.99 monthly, or discounted via Apple One bundles.
