Apple Services Outage Affects App Store, iTunes Store

Apple is experiencing a widespread outage affecting multiple services for the second time in a week. According to Apple's System Status page, the App Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store, Apple Care on Device, and Subscription Purchase are all experiencing partial outages affecting some or all users. Issues began at 7:40 p.m. ET and are ongoing.

The Developer System Status page shows two ongoing issues with App Store – Advanced Commerce API and App Store – In-App Purchases, which started at 7:20 p.m. ET. Apple states it is undergoing emergency maintenance to improve system performance, estimated to take two hours. No estimated resolution time has been provided for user-facing outages.

Update at 11:00 p.m ET: Apple's System Status pages now indicate all issues have been resolved.
