Apple is preparing major changes to its retail stores, according to a Bloomberg report detailed by Mark Gurman. The tech giant plans to accelerate store renovations featuring three key updates. First, Apple will revamp Avenue sections by adding new bays for online pickups and Today at Apple sessions, moving from centralized tables to dedicated 10-foot sections with wood construction, Apple logos, and secure storage.

Second, giant video walls at the back of stores will be removed. Third, and most notably, Apple will return to dedicated Genius Bars after more than a decade, replacing video walls with all-wood service counters featuring two counter heights for accessibility, storage drawers, and product posters.
