Apple launches web portal for Card Savings management

Apple has added a web portal that lets Apple Card holders view and manage their Savings accounts without opening the Wallet app. By navigating to card.apple.com/savings, current and former users can check balances, see year‑to‑date interest, and download statements or tax documents. The move expands the card’s ecosystem beyond iOS‑only access. It works on any modern browser, no login hassles.

The interface mirrors the Wallet experience but strips away graphs and advanced navigation, offering a lightweight fallback for quick checks or when the app isn’t available. Savings accounts automatically receive Daily Cash from purchases, and users may fund them via Apple Cash or a linked bank. Eligibility requires an active Apple Card, iOS 16.4+, age 18+, a U.S. address and two‑factor authentication.

For customers whose Apple Card has been closed, the site still serves as a repository for historical statements and tax forms, preventing data loss. By decoupling Savings management from the mobile app, Apple reduces friction for users who prefer desktop workflows or need rapid access while traveling. The addition solidifies Apple’s push to make its financial services more platform‑agnostic. Businesses can also benefit from streamlined payroll integrations.
