Belden has extended the nomination deadline for the 2026 Joseph C. Belden Innovation Award to February 27, 2026 , giving innovators additional time to showcase breakthrough technologies. The award recognizes emerging companies driving meaningful change across connected industries, from digital infrastructure and cybersecurity to industrial automation.

Named after connectivity pioneer Joseph C. Belden, the program focuses on IT/OT convergence for 2026, highlighting solutions that bridge information technology and operational systems. As enterprises modernize operations and connect physical and digital environments, technologies unifying these domains are becoming essential to performance, resilience, and growth.

Finalists receive industry visibility, executive audience access, and tailored co-marketing opportunities designed to accelerate adoption. Winners will be announced live at the Belden Innovation Summit, June 9–11, 2026, in Detroit. Eligibility requires small and midsize companies with revenue under $500 million and products launched on or after July 1, 2024, with at least one customer deployment.

The extension comes amid overwhelming interest and strong early submissions, reflecting robust demand for recognition in the connected industries sector. Innovators now have until the end of February to submit their technologies for consideration.
