Actor Rudy Youngblood, known for his lead role in Mel Gibson's 2006 film Apocalypto, was arrested in Texas on drug possession charges. The 43-year-old was initially pulled over for speeding when officers discovered an outstanding warrant from an October incident involving alleged assault and drug possession.

Police found Youngblood with approximately one to four grams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia including a scale, straw, and glass pipe. The felony charge carries a potential sentence of up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Youngblood was booked into Henderson County Jail in Athens, Texas, where he remained in custody at press time.

This marks another legal incident for the actor, who has faced multiple arrests in recent years. In December 2024, Youngblood was detained in Athens, Greece, for allegedly threatening police with a knife while intoxicated. He received a suspended 10-month sentence but remained jailed due to visa issues. A 2017 Miami arrest for disorderly intoxication was later dismissed. Youngblood's career includes roles in films like The Haunting of Hell Hole Mine and Wind Walkers, but these repeated legal troubles could significantly impact his future in Hollywood.
