Wall Street analysts have identified IonQ and SoundHound AI as high-growth stocks with potential upside of 125% and 117% respectively by 2026. IonQ, trading at $33.30, carries an average price target of $74.89, while SoundHound AI at $7.50 has a $16.31 average target. Both companies operate in emerging technology sectors where their specialized approaches could capture significant market opportunities.

IonQ focuses on quantum computing using trapped-ion qubits, currently holding the world record for quantum accuracy with a $10 billion market cap. SoundHound AI combines voice recognition with generative AI for customer service applications, already implementing solutions for drive-thru orders. Despite SoundHound's 67% revenue growth, both stocks face valuation challenges with IonQ's price-to-sales ratio at 94 and SoundHound at 20 times sales.

Both stocks have declined since October 2025 as investors rotated away from higher-risk tech investments. IonQ generates revenue primarily from contracts rather than hardware sales, while SoundHound remains unprofitable despite its revenue growth. The quantum computing market opportunity is estimated at $72 billion by 2035, providing potential long-term upside for IonQ if it maintains its technological lead.
