A Las Vegas club promoter faces multiple charges after a DUI crash that sent a child airborne, with blood-alcohol levels nearly three times the legal limit. Gavin Caci, 28, was driving eastbound on Harmon Avenue when he veered onto the sidewalk, striking a British family with a 2-year-old in a stroller.

Police reports indicate Caci's blood-alcohol level measured 0.22 less than two hours after the incident, far exceeding Nevada's 0.08 legal limit. The crash occurred near the Las Vegas Strip on Feb. 8 around 7:35 p.m. Caci allegedly left the scene before being followed by another driver who called 911. Officers noted bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol.

Two pedestrians suffered severe injuries including brain bleeds. In court Wednesday, Caci pleaded not guilty as judges denied bail. His attorney requested a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 25. The conditions of the injured victims remain unknown. Caci, who lists himself as a VIP club promoter on social media, initially denied drinking but later admitted to consuming tequila at an unspecified club, possibly at The Cosmopolitan Hotel.
