An Indiana school secretary faces multiple felony charges after her husband allegedly discovered her in bed with an 18-year-old student. Alicia Hughes, 31, was arrested following an investigation that revealed she sexually assaulted two teenage boys while working at the Randolph Eastern School Corporation in Union City.

Police say Hughes' husband confronted the couple at their home, leading to an altercation where she was reportedly beaten. The investigation uncovered evidence of abuse involving another 17-year-old student, with authorities determining Hughes had assaulted the minor at least five times. She was charged with five counts of child seduction and is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.

Superintendent Neal Adams confirmed Hughes has been removed from all student contact pending legal proceedings. The case highlights the serious nature of child seduction charges in Indiana, which carry potential sentences ranging from 30 months to 30 years in prison. A conviction would require Hughes to register as a sex offender.
