The Habit Burger & Grill, recently named by USA Today readers as having the nation's best fast-food burger for two consecutive years, is expanding its Fresno-area presence with a second Clovis location. The new restaurant at 498 W. Shaw Ave. will open later this year, less than a mile east of Highway 168.

Clovis Mayor Vong Mouanoutoua announced the 2,700-square-foot restaurant will employ approximately 30 people and is expected to boost traffic for neighboring businesses along the Shaw Corridor. The location will occupy the former Title Max office space that closed in 2020, joining the existing Habit Burger on Herndon Avenue.

The California-based chain has been aggressively expanding in the Fresno region, with recent openings including locations at Fresno State and on Willow Avenue near Clovis city limits. This marks the second Habit Burger in Clovis and represents continued growth for the burger chain in the Central Valley market.
