Embraer has unveiled its Praetor 600E super-midsized jet, a groundbreaking aircraft that promises to redefine the private aviation landscape. The Brazilian manufacturer revealed the 600E alongside its smaller sibling, the Praetor 500E, at its Melbourne, Florida headquarters. These aircraft represent significant departures from typical business jet iterations, offering innovative features usually reserved for larger-cabin or ultra-long-range jets.

During a demonstration flight, Robb Report became the first media outlet to experience the 600E's revolutionary interior. The aircraft boasts a 42-inch Smart Window monitor co-designed with Lufthansa Technik, transforming the traditionally least-desirable middle seat into the most coveted spot. The monitor, which can display movies, video games, or real-time exterior camera footage, creates a third cabin zone without increasing the aircraft's footprint. The electrically controlled seating features dual lumbar supports, three levels of cushioning, and multiple pivoting positions, all designed and built in-house by Embraer.

Beyond the headline features, Embraer has reimagined the super-midsize category with details like voice-activated RGB mood lighting offering 16 million color combinations and redesigned air vents that eliminate traditional gaspers for a more streamlined experience. The galley has been expanded and restyled, while the aircraft maintains its category-leading 4,108 nautical mile range. Pricing starts at $25,795,000 for the 600E and $21,645,000 for the 500E, with deliveries beginning in 2029.
