A Socata TB21 Trinidad single-engine plane crashed near Prescott Valley, Arizona, on February 4th, killing its pilot, Cameron English, 64. The aircraft, departing Santa Ana, California, was en route to Prescott Regional Airport when it went down near Poquito Valley Road. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the cause, while the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office confirmed the pilot was the sole occupant.

English, a frequent traveler in the electronics manufacturing sector, left behind a wife and three sons. His brother, Tony English, expressed shock at the loss of a man known for his adventurous spirit. This incident occurred simultaneously with another fatal aviation event: a DPS helicopter crashed in Flagstaff during an active shooter response, killing two officers.

Together, these crashes marked Arizona's deadliest aviation day in over a month, following a January helicopter crash that killed four family members. The Socata TB21 is a common aircraft for personal and cross-country flights, though investigators have not yet determined what caused this specific crash.
