Ubisoft Entertainment reported a 9.2% slip in net bookings for its fiscal first quarter, totaling $291.9 million (255.8 million euros). Despite the decline, the company highlighted early success from its operational overhaul, particularly with the remake of "Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag." The game, "Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced," launched on July 9 and surpassed annual sales expectations within its first two weeks, selling 3.5 million copies.

Other titles also contributed to performance. The mobile game "Invincible: Guarding the Globe" exceeded expectations more than two years post-launch, while "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" met company projections. The net bookings figure, while below analyst forecasts, exceeded Ubisoft's own guidance of around 250 million euros, indicating a positive trend amidst the overall bookings decrease.
