Japanese autonomous-driving startup Turing is targeting the U.S. market, with a potential listing that could value the company at approximately $10 billion, according to its CEO Issei Yamamoto.

The Tokyo-based company plans to establish a U.S. office within the next year, focusing on data collection and research and development. Yamamoto noted that the U.S. is the company's next major target after Japan, citing the large presence of Japanese automakers there.

Turing has already formed a joint research partnership with Subaru and Denso, both of which have a presence in the U.S. Denso is also an investor in Turing. Yamamoto emphasized that if an OEM client sells a car in the U.S., it automatically brings Turing's products to the country.
