SpaceX is preparing to launch the newest version of its Starship rocket, "V3," as soon as Thursday, following a delay due to a mishap during a previous test. The earlier mission was postponed after the booster did not perform as expected, leading the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to mandate an investigation.

The FAA announced the closure of its investigation on Monday, accepting SpaceX's findings that cited heat effects on propulsion system components and erroneous engine alarm settings as the primary causes for the previous issues. The agency also approved SpaceX's four proposed corrective actions.

This upcoming mission marks the first flight for the redesigned Starship "V3," which is intended for deploying larger satellites. The launch window is set to open in the evening, with SpaceX aiming for a Thursday liftoff.
