Royal Philips, the Dutch health-technology company, reported an increase in sales for its second quarter, driven by robust demand across all business segments. Group sales reached €4.4 billion ($5 billion), surpassing analyst expectations of €4.31 billion. This performance reflects a comparable-sales growth of 4%.

Customer demand for Philips' products remains healthy, with significant order shifts from North America into the third quarter and strong double-digit growth observed in Europe. Income from operations stood at €609 million, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization saw an increase of approximately 16%.

Despite an overall 1% decline in comparable order intake, attributed to the shifting timing of large connected-care orders, growth was noted in the diagnosis & treatment segment. The company's results indicate a positive trajectory driven by sustained customer interest in its health-technology offerings.
