A stake in a Bond jet costs at least $3.7 million, plus additional fees. Although the company won’t begin flying until next year, it has already signed up 110 members. As the number of multimillionaires has grown, so too has the amount of services for high-net-worth individuals looking to avoid the indignities of commercial travel.

There are now some 430,000 households worth $30 million or more in America. An average of 295,350 private flights took off per month between January and June, up 15.4% from the same period in 2019, according to data from the aviation services company Argus Traqpak.
