Centene, a U.S. health‑insurance firm, has raised its 2026 revenue and profit outlook following a robust second‑quarter performance. The company attributed the upgrade to strong results in its core government‑sponsored and individual lines, and to a significant boost from premium tax revenue.

Centene now projects total revenues of $193.5 billion to $197.5 billion, an increase of $6 billion over prior guidance, while analysts had expected $191.16 billion. Premium and service revenue guidance was lifted by $2 billion to a range of $173 billion to $177 billion. The update reflects continued strength in its Marketplace and Medicaid businesses.

The upward revision signals confidence in sustained growth and suggests that Centene’s expansion strategy is bearing fruit. Investors will monitor how the new projections translate into quarterly earnings and shareholder returns over the next year, particularly as the company navigates regulatory changes and competitive pressures.
