Google has disclosed its ownership of $94.1 billion in SpaceX shares, representing approximately a 6% stake in the recently public company. According to a quarterly filing, these holdings are divided into $80 billion subject to short-term selling restrictions and $14.1 billion under long-term restrictions until the third quarter of 2027.

These restrictions are typical for investors who acquire stock around the time of an initial public offering. SpaceX's IPO in June was notably its largest listing ever, according to Nasdaq. On its debut, SpaceX stock surged 19% to $135, valuing the company at $2.1 trillion.

Despite a slight dip in recent trading, where shares were valued at $112.13, Google's significant investment highlights the substantial value of its stake in the aerospace giant.
