Kalshi says it has submitted a filing with the CFTC to list perpetual futures for equity indexes such as the S&P 500, enabling leveraged long or short positions without owning underlying shares. The company is not planning single-stock perpetual futures. Coinbase also announced the addition of a US500 perpetual contract to its derivatives exchange.

UBS downgraded Scor to sell from neutral and cut its price target to €32.50 from €34.50, citing potential pressure from the Monte Carlo conference in September and a possible delay in excess distributions at the December capital markets day. The stock fell 2.4% to €33.86.

J.P. Morgan raised Aviva's operating EPS estimates 1%–2% through 2028 and lifted its price target to 815 pence from 800 pence, reiterating an overweight rating. Shares rose 0.8% to 736 pence, up 7.7% year to date.
