The incident occurred when Ramaswamy stated that his generation had "already made it" and would "be fine," implying that younger generations would bear the financial burden.

Viral footage showed the audience erupting in boos, with one attendee shouting, "You are a political cretin and you need to get the f--- out of here." Ramaswamy, who was scheduled for a 30-minute speech, cut his appearance short after 14 minutes and left the stage to continued jeers.

Ramaswamy, a health-tech entrepreneur, gained prominence during an unsuccessful presidential run and became a vocal supporter of Trump.
