Ukrainian forces launched a missile strike on the Russian city of Bryansk, targeting the Kremniy El plant that produces components for Russian missiles. The attack killed six civilians and injured 42 others, according to regional governor Aleksandr Bogomaz. The facility, located about 60 miles inside Russia, manufactures control systems and semiconductors for various missile types.

Russia claimed the strike used seven British Storm Shadow missiles and called it an "inhuman act" by "Ukrainian terrorists." President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the attack on the plant, stating it produces systems for missiles that strike Ukrainian cities. The Ukrainian General Staff described the facility as a "critically important link" in Russia's missile production chain.

Russian authorities did not confirm damage to the plant itself, though the Ukrainian military reported "significant damage to production facilities." Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov alleged British specialists were involved without providing evidence. The attack demonstrates Ukraine's continued ability to strike high-value targets deep inside Russia despite air defenses and electronic warfare measures.
