Trump stated that the US will wait for economic pressure to mount on Iran, as Israel formally rejects a 15-point Gaza peace plan. The remarks came amid ongoing US-Israel war on Iran, with strikes near the Strait of Hormuz and discussions about Iran’s “Pickaxe Mountain” military site.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued decrees appointing six senior commanders in the General Staff, IRGC and Basij. The appointments signal Tehran’s intent to maintain military readiness despite US and Israeli pressure. The standoff continues with no clear resolution in sight.
