Iran claims U.S. strikes hit civilian infrastructure in Hormozgan Province, killing eight and wounding 20, damaging bridges, a train station and an airport. U.S. Central Command said it completed its sixth consecutive night of strikes, hitting dozens of military targets including air defenses and maritime capabilities, with more than 50,000 service members operating across the Middle East.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard said it attacked a U.S. command center in Syria's al-Tanf region and targeted U.S. aircraft at the Sakhir airbase in Bahrain. President Donald Trump insisted the U.S. is "winning big in Iran" and threatened further strikes on bridges and power plants. The fragile truce signed last month to reopen the Strait of Hormuz continues to unravel. Analyst Ian Lesser warned of a "forever war" risk.

Oil prices surged, with Brent crude at $85.72 per barrel and WTI at $80.63, both up over 11% this week for their best weekly performance since April.
