South Carolina Republican consultant Dave Wilson noted that voters want choice, and Trump's endorsement may not be as decisive as anticipated, referencing a past instance where an endorsed candidate lost a runoff. Veteran strategist Ryan Williams added that while a Trump endorsement is a boost, it doesn't guarantee a win, and aspiring politicians should seize opportunities like this open Senate seat, campaigning as "Trump Republicans."
