A court in Verden sentenced 67‑year‑old Daniela Klette, the last known active member of the Red Army Faction, to 13 years in prison. The verdict covered six aggravated robberies carried out between 1999 and 2016 to fund her life on the run, after the group dissolved in the 1990s.

Klette and two accomplices hit armored trucks and supermarkets across western Germany, stealing more than $3.1 million.
