Live Nation Entertainment Inc (NYSE:LYV) shares climbed 2% in after-hours trading Thursday after the concert giant reported fourth-quarter revenue of $6.31 billion, beating analyst estimates of $6.13 billion. The company concluded 2025 with $25.2 billion in annual revenue, marking a 9% increase over the previous fiscal year. Operating income jumped 52% to $1.3 billion, driven by record results in the concerts division and expanding international margins.

Fan attendance reached 159 million in 2025, climbing 5% year-over-year, with international markets surpassing U.S. attendance for the first time in company history. This global expansion was supported by a $15 billion investment in artists and shows, reinforcing Live Nation's dominant position in the live entertainment ecosystem. Management indicated that over 80% of large-format shows for 2026 are already booked, with North American pacing up double digits.

The Ticketmaster segment generated $3.1 billion in revenue for 2025, while the sponsorship division grew 11% to $845 million in adjusted operating income. CEO Michael Rapino noted that the company is "positioned for another year of double-digit operating income and AOI growth in 2026." With a deep pipeline of large-scale shows and ticket demand continuing its ascent, Live Nation expects capital expenditures of up to $1.2 billion in 2026 to further expand its global venue portfolio and infrastructure.
