Kresus Labs has raised $13 million in strategic funding from Hanwha Investment & Securities to expand its blockchain infrastructure operations. The U.S.-based company, which aims to make digital finance safer and more accessible, will use the investment to grow its enterprise digital wallet infrastructure and real-world asset tokenization platforms.

Hanwha's 18-billion Korean won investment supports Kresus's plan to enhance on-chain financial workflows and develop global partnerships. The funding will also accelerate product development as institutions increasingly seek blockchain solutions for asset tokenization and stablecoin applications. Kresus provides tools that help individuals and businesses manage digital assets while offering institutions platforms to trade physical assets like real estate as digital tokens.

The partnership builds on a December memorandum of understanding signed at an Abu Dhabi investment summit, where Kresus agreed to provide Hanwha with secure digital wallets and token creation software. This collaboration allows Hanwha to offer new, cutting-edge investments that meet big-bank standards while helping Kresus deepen its presence in key international markets.
