The acquisition centers on RAPT’s lead asset, ozureprubart, a long-acting anti-IgE monoclonal antibody in late-stage development for food allergy protection.

Ozureprubart’s potential for less frequent dosing—every 12 weeks versus the current standard of every 2 to 4 weeks—could represent a significant advancement for the 17 million Americans diagnosed with food allergies. GSK’s chief scientific officer called it a promising, potential best-in-class treatment.
