PwC Partners Eye Near-Record £900,000 Pay

PwC's UK partners are on track for average annual pay exceeding £900,000 this year, driven by cost-cutting measures. This represents a more than 5% increase from the previous year's £865,000 payout, bringing remuneration close to record levels seen in 2022 and 2023.

The projected earnings would surpass KPMG's partner pay from last year but fall short of Deloitte's average of £1.05 million. EY partners received an average of £787,000 last year, while RSM equity partners earned £821,000.

Despite a market slowdown impacting consulting and leading to job cuts, with PwC's staff reducing from 36,000 to 33,700, partner pay is set to rise. The final figures for PwC's 973 partners are subject to finalization of the firm's accounts, with potential for profits to be reinvested in the business.
