Bank of America France Attack Probe Ties to Iran-Linked Group

French prosecutors say they believe a thwarted bombing at Bank of America's Paris office last week was likely carried out by a pro-Iranian group called Ashab al-Yamin. The group claimed responsibility online for recent antisemitic arson attacks in the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Three men, including two minors, were arrested after police spotted them planting an incendiary device. One suspect allegedly paid the others €500-€1,000 to film the scene. French authorities linked the attack to Iran due to similarities with other incidents and the group's online claims.

The Bank of America office was closed over the weekend but reopened normally on Monday. The device consisted of a gasoline-filled container taped to a large firework, capable of causing a large fireball. While authorities haven't definitively proven the Iran link, the investigation continues.
