ZUS Coffee is exploring an initial public offering of its Malaysia business to raise at least 1 billion ringgit ($245 million), according to sources familiar with the matter. The company, owned by Zuspresso Sdn., is working with financial advisers on the potential IPO, which could value the business at approximately 4 billion ringgit. The offering may take place on Bursa Malaysia as early as mid-2027, the sources said, requesting anonymity due to the private nature of the discussions.

The IPO would mark a significant milestone for the Malaysian coffee chain, which has been expanding rapidly across Southeast Asia. ZUS Coffee has gained popularity for its premium coffee offerings and modern café experience, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the region's growing coffee market.

Financial advisers are currently evaluating the structure and timing of the potential listing, with the company aiming to capitalize on investor interest in consumer-facing businesses. The move reflects broader trends in the region, where several food and beverage chains have pursued public listings to fund expansion and increase brand visibility.

If successfully launched, the IPO could provide a substantial boost to ZUS Coffee's growth strategy and further solidify its presence in the competitive Southeast Asian market.
