Lynas Rare Earths Ltd. will partner with South Korea's LS Cable & System Ltd. to explore development of a rare earths metals production plant in Vietnam. The facility would enable the Perth-based company to manufacture finished rare earth metals derived from oxides produced at its Malaysian processing plant and Australian mine.

This strategic move represents a significant expansion of Lynas's global footprint beyond its existing operations in Malaysia and Australia. The Vietnamese facility would process raw materials from Lynas's integrated supply chain, potentially reducing transportation costs and improving production efficiency.
