The bond selloff continued in Europe and the UK on Wednesday, as natural gas prices rose further and kept investors worried about inflation. The 10-year gilt yield rose as much as seven basis points to 5.29%, the highest since August 2007, and Germany's equivalent rate was up five basis points to 3.39%, a level last seen in 2011. French and Italian yields rose even more.
