China’s anti-corruption campaign continues to hit high-ranking officials. Last year, the Chinese government punished 69 officials at the ministerial or provincial level and above for corruption. This announcement came from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, underscoring the ongoing efforts to root out graft within the ruling Communist Party.
