Chelsea Football Club owners Clearlake Capital agreed to buy out chairman Todd Boehly and director Mark Walter, bringing an end to a turbulent period among the club's owners.

Clearlake is taking full control of the club as part of the deal, it said in a statement. Walter is selling as his businesses face scrutiny from US authorities.

The Stamford Bridge stadium is the home ground of Chelsea Football Club in London.
