ABN Amro Bank NV reported quarterly profit that beat analysts’ estimates thanks to higher fees and growth in lending income, prompting the Dutch bank to raise outlook for its biggest revenue source.

The bank posted a net profit of $3.2 billion, up from $2.8 billion in the same period last year, driven by a 12% increase in fee income and a 9% rise in interest income from loans.

In response, ABN Amro upgraded its forecast for fee‑based earnings, now expecting $5.1 billion in the next fiscal year, compared with the previous estimate of $4.6 billion. The improvement follows a robust loan portfolio and a steady increase in corporate lending.

Analysts note that the stronger fee performance and loan growth position the Dutch bank to capitalize on expanding market opportunities, reinforcing confidence in its long‑term profitability.
