Iqunix is stepping up its Hall effect gaming keyboard game with frequent firmware updates. The latest update for the EV63 HE adds controller emulation, a feature previously limited to a few competitors like Wooting, GravaStar, and Keychron. This new Gamepad Mode, available through the Iqunix EV63 HyperCore software, lets users map keyboard keys to controller inputs.

It's especially useful for games requiring variable speed control based on joystick or trigger depth. Gamers can also adjust the analogue curve to fine-tune sensitivity. To use Gamepad Mode, users must update their firmware, which also fixes key binding issues and improves the Performance tab by allowing simultaneous view of Rapid Trigger and custom actuation distance values.
