Tottenham and Everton are in advanced talks over two players: Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison. Spurs have approached Everton to sign winger Ndiaye, with Cody Gakpo likely to go to Manchester City if he leaves Liverpool. Everton want to sign their former striker Richarlison and are believed to be willing to make him an attractive offer.

Richarlison left Merseyside in 2022, joining Antonio Conte's Spurs side in a £60m deal, but has had a frustrating time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Folarin Balogun is another forward option Everton are considering, however, as things stand, their full focus is on Richarlison. The fee would have to be right for Everton to sell Ndiaye, but he has rejected multiple new contract offers from the club.

Former Sheffield United winger Ndiaye has scored 17 goals in 74 appearances since joining Everton from Marseille two seasons ago. He has also been on Manchester City's target list for a new forward. Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi admitted on Saturday that Richarlison is one of three players who has asked to leave before the deadline.

The other two are Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr. De Zerbi revealed Richarlison, who is in the final year of his contract, was left out of Saturday's squad for the 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle because he had asked to leave 'too many times'. De Zerbi also wants to sign a new forward before the deadline.

Chelsea's Pedro Neto has also been on their radar but it looks like they are moving for Ndiaye. Spurs have spent more than £300m already in this summer's transfer window. Omar Marmoush was the most recent arrival on a loan with an obligation to buy, joining former Manchester City team-mate Savio at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the Brazilian signed in an £85m deal.

Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke arrived earlier this summer for combined fees of £237m. Spurs also added Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers. Everton are continuing talks with Manchester City over another deal for Jack Grealish.

The structure of the deal remains quite fluid at this stage, Sky Sports News understands, with Grealish in the final year of his City contract. Grealish was absent as City beat Crystal Palace 4-1 at Selhurst Park on Friday night.
