Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies confirmed Isack Hadjar's wrist injury recovery is progressing normally, with no rush to return him for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Hadjar has missed three races since sustaining the injury during pre-season training, with Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson substituting. Mekies stated evaluations will continue over the next week, including a simulator session to test Hadjar's readiness for Baku's street circuit. "If he feels close to 100 per cent, we go for it.

If he feels the recovery is not completed, we will stick to our approach to put his recovery first," Mekies said. The Azerbaijan GP begins Wednesday with practice, starting a triple-header with Malaysia and Singapore. Lawson has impressed in his stand-in role, qualifying eighth twice and scoring points at Zandvoort and Madrid, including a sixth-place finish.
