Phil 'The Power' Taylor is set to return to competitive darts at the MODUS Super Series International Pairs Tournament in November, teaming up with long-time friend Adrian Lewis.

The 16-time world champion, now 66, retired from the competitive circuit in 2018, five years after winning his final world crown. However, the chance to play alongside Lewis was enough to bring him back to the oche, though this return is unlikely to be permanent.

Taylor, who recently underwent a successful hip replacement, and Lewis previously teamed up to win four World Cup of Darts titles. "Phil and I have shared some brilliant moments playing together over the years," Lewis said. "So to get the chance to do it again is really special."

The MODUS Super Series is not an official PDC event but will host an international line-up. The full entry list will be revealed on October 10.
