Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the fastest player in history to reach 100 Bundesliga goals, doing so in just his 98th appearance on Friday. He converted a 39th-minute penalty against Union Berlin.

Kane smashed the previous record of 129 appearances set by Dieter Müller at Cologne in the 1970s. The England captain joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2023 and has scored 36, 26, and 35 league goals in his three seasons, finishing as top scorer each year. Bayern won back-to-back titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26.

Kane scored his 100th goal for Bayern in all competitions in just his 104th appearance, a 4-0 win over Werder Bremen in September 2025 — the fastest to 100 for a club in Europe's top five leagues in the 21st century, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland (105 games). He now has 151 goals in 154 games for Bayern.

Kane is England's all-time leading scorer with 70 international goals and is among the frontrunners for the Ballon d'Or, announced Oct. 26.
