LSU linebacker Whit Weeks sustained a fracture in his lower right leg during Saturday's win over Texas A&M, sources told ESPN's Adam Rittenberg. The injury isn't believed to be season-ending. Weeks, who missed five games last season with a similar issue, is second on the team with 23 tackles. He has 2.5 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries. A permanent team captain and first-team All-SEC pick in 2024, Weeks was seen on crutches with a boot after the game. LSU coach Lane Kiffin didn't have an update but said, "Obviously it didn't look good when he walked off." With Weeks out, the Tigers have options at linebacker including Davhon Keys, Zach Weeks, Charles Ross II, Tylen Singleton, and Keylan Moses.
