Charlesbank Capital Partners-backed Spectrotel has completed its merger with AireSpring, combining two channel-focused managed network services providers for undisclosed terms. The deal was first announced on April 23, 2026.

Grain Management continues to invest in the combined organization, while members of the Lonstein family, AireSpring’s founders, remain significant minority investors. The merger pairs Neptune, New Jersey-based Spectrotel’s experience supporting complex, distributed enterprises with AireSpring’s nationwide facilities-based fiber network, geo-redundant voice infrastructure and global connectivity capabilities.

The combined platform serves enterprise, mid-market and SMB customers, including organizations with multi-location and global requirements. The two businesses will now integrate their networks, teams and infrastructure onto a single platform.

“Our investment reflects years of thematic work in this market and conviction in the growing demand for managed network services,” said Mike McGuire, managing director at Charlesbank. AireSpring operates through a 100 percent channel-exclusive model. Ross Artale continues as CEO of the combined company. Charlesbank had approximately $24 billion of assets under management as of June 30, 2026.
